Model: MCM-100 ; Version 2.0.0

The MCM-100 TechWave Audio Midi to CV Eurorack Module is a feature-rich and customizable monophonic MIDI input for your synth rack.
This 6hp wide module is designed to allow you to plug in your MIDI input via the class-compliant USB-C jack or a standard 5 pin MIDI cable, and get going quickly. Designed for simplicity and ease of use and loads of customization options. It features a 1v/octave note output, velocity CV output, and two fully routable CV or signal outputs. There are also full gate (note on), trigger (note start), and MIDI clock sync outputs.
Not enough outputs for you? The MCM-100 has the ability to be expanded with four additional CV outputs with the plug-and-play MCM-100-EX Expansion Module.
Features
- Single channel or all channel MIDI input via class-compliant USB-C or standard 5-pin MIDI cable
- Four CV outputs for note (1v/oct), Velocity, assignable Out 1 and Out 2
- 1v/octave through 10 octaves (at 0 to +10v), or through 5 octaves (at 0 to +5v)
- Two CV outputs (Out 1 and Out 2) with flexible routing
- All CV outputs max voltage selectable to +10v or +5v
- Expandable with additional four flexible-routed CV outputs.
- Gate, trigger, and clock pulses to +5v outputs
- Divisible clock sync pulses from every tick up to once every 96 ticks
- Selectable note priority (last, highest, lowest)
- Tuneable pitch and velocity adjust
- Customizable trigger output duration pulse width
- Customizable pitch bend response range from 0 to 5 octaves
- Real time display of note and output states
- Settings persist to on-board flash ROM
- 6hp wide, 3U height, 48mm depth
- Power Draw (maximum):
- +12v: 72mA (80mA with expansion)
- -12v: 15mA (20mA with expansion)
- +5v: 0mA
Responds to the following MIDI messages:
- Note on / off: sends/stops the note and velocity outputs.
- For +10v output, responds to C-1 (note number 0) to B9 (note number 119).
- For +5v output, responds to C2 (middle-C, note number 36) to B6 (note number 95).
- Sends a trigger pulse on note on, and turns on the gate for the duration of the note.
- Also assignable to any of the routable CV outputs.
- Pitch bend: modifies any currently playing note. Adjustable range from 0 to 5 octaves.
- Sustain: holds a note on while the sustain is active.
- Volume: increases or decreases the velocity output. Also assignable to any flexible CV output.
- Clock tick: MIDI clock ticks are sent directly to the
Clockoutput and can be routed to any of the assignable CV output as well. The clock ticks are configurable to pulse with every tick, or every 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, or 96 ticks. - Mute (all notes off): clears any note, velocity, and gate outputs.
- Reset: reset the MIDI input messaging queue and stops any output.
- In addition, all of the following MIDI events are assignable to any of the flexible CV outputs:
- Aftertouch
- Expression
- Mod wheel
- Effect 1
- Effect 2
- Start and Continue sequence
- Stop sequence
Customizable Settings
